Board-Formed Concrete is a contemporary decorative wall cladding that combines the marks of timber formwork with the surface character of exposed concrete. The linear wood grain on the surface transforms concrete’s plain, monolithic appearance into a warmer architectural expression. Board-Formed Concrete can be used in projects of different scales and functions, including behind TV units, living-room feature walls, entrance halls, studies, office reception areas, meeting rooms, stores, showrooms, cafés and restaurant walls. The model is compatible with modern, industrial, loft, minimalist, brutalist and natural-modern designs. When combined with solid wood, black metal, matt lacquered surfaces, microcement, glass, leather and understated textiles, a balanced transition can be established between materials. A jointless layout supports the uninterrupted reading of the timber formwork marks. The direction and repeat pattern of the panels should be determined before installation, and identical patterns should not be placed side by side. Cladding thickness: 1,5cm. Installation: Jointless / Dry-Stack. The surface to be clad must be clean, sound, dry and have sufficient load-bearing capacity.
