Flender-Type Coupling

The Flender-type coupling transmits high torque between two shafts and damps vibration through its elastomer intermediate element. These couplings are developed to provide reliable power transmission, especially in systems operating under heavy loads; their robust structure and shock-absorbing property protect the system during sudden load changes and extend equipment life. They generally consist of two metal hubs with an elastomer coupling element between them.
