Elevator Pit Buffers
Buffers installed at the bottom of the elevator shaft, below the car and the counterweight, where they absorb impact energy and define the lowest permitted travel position. They form part of the shaft safety equipment required for normal and emergency operation. Quantity and dimensions are selected for each project according to travel height, load and pit depth, and the units are supplied ready for on-site installation.
