Aluminium Escalator Step Edge Insert
An original AKE edge insert fitted to the front edge of an aluminium escalator step. It protects the step edge from wear, marks the tread boundary clearly for passengers stepping on and off, and keeps the step profile clean and undamaged. The part is replaced during step servicing when the edge insert becomes worn, loose or broken.
