Purslane (Semizotu) has fleshy leaves and a natural freshness; thanks to its high water content it leaves a cooling sensation. It offers its most natural taste when consumed fresh. The taste is slightly sour and refreshing, and it is used in salads and yoghurt-based meze. Offered by Erüst Farm, it is stored at 2-6 °C in the refrigerator.
