Metric Fine Thread Bottoming Tap – HSS

This bottoming tap is a finishing machine tap for metric fine threads, made from high-speed steel (HSS) to DIN and TSE standards with a controlled thread tolerance. Because the thread runs along the full length of the flutes, it is used as the last tap in a sequence to cut a complete thread close to the bottom of a blind hole. Sizes run from M3 to M10 with pitches of 0.35 to 1.25 mm, overall lengths of 40 to 70 mm, and the tool cuts in a right-hand direction.
